They had it coming
How did you know?![]()
Finally. Something we can all agree on.
But wait...wait one second. What's this? What is this? It wouldn't be the Pats doing the same BS last week against the Saints but only the officials missed it? Yep, that's about right.

There goes another Bears season down the ****ter. Jay Cutler out for a min of 4 weeks with a torn groin muscle. Lance Briggs out 6 weeks with a fractured shoulder

You guys keep taking the team as it is RIGHT NOW and saying, "Welker would have helped!". No sht. ANY decent WR would have helped on the team as it is RIGHT now.
My point is, when Walker was allowed to walk, there was no real reason to think that they couldn't easily replace his production with... again... the two tight ends, the running backs, and then Edelman and Amendola. They weren't replacing Welker with Amendola. They weren't replacing Welker with Edelman, so showing stats between the two/three is stupid. They were basically saying, "Given everything else we have, our slot WR position isn't going to be as important and we can cover it with a combination of other things while we focus on other parts of the offense".
Hernandez started murdering people, Gronk took forever to come back. Amendola is dead...
"Ohhhhh Welker would save this team!!" BLLsht...
Welker has 44 catches for 474 yards.
Julian Edelman... a fcking re-purposed QB... has 46 catches for 455 yards playing Wes' old position.
"Oh but Wes has 8 TDs to Edelman's 2"!! big effin whoop. You're telling me Welker catches more TDs than Edelman this year in the Pat's offense?? gimme an effin break.
... and then... on top all of that... blame Belichick's "incredible arrogance" for letting Welker walk... given what he thought his offense was going to look like?? That's comical.
But wait...wait one second. What's this? What is this? It wouldn't be the Jets doing the same BS in the same game but only the officials missed it? Yep, that's about right.

this thread has turned into a lose/lose
one side, you have whiney-ass pats fans eating an irony sandwich.
on the other side, you have jets fans. i mean...jets fans. can you imagine?
And we have you hater, jealous fans that support teams of insignificance.
motobrewer said:yeah, you could certainly call team with the most league championships insignificant.
oh! you meant to say "significant". no worries, i'm sure it was a typo.
Obviously not a penalty if it isn't called.![]()
Huh, it looks like they only have 2 since the Merger. I wouldn't call that the Most. You could make an argument that they have won 4 Superbowls, but two were before the Merger when the powerhouse teams of the AFL came in. So really two that count, but hey, way to live in the past.
