maybe if I type real slow.

Its a stupid rule but it doesn't matter. If the Pats could effin stop one of 37 third and longs, the call wouldn't have been a factor in the first place.
They lost. They played like sht... again... Which in itself says something. The Pats play absolutely horrible and it takes an overtime ridiculous call and field goal for the Jets to win. I can imagine the man goo gargling Jets fans are partaking in right now. "Oh my God!! We actually beat the Pats!!!! Agggagggaggaggg".
At the end of the day, the Pats are still in first and the Jets still havent won jack sht since Drunky Namath played back in the 40's.
But no one sees that the pats have no names along with having season ending injuries to some of their top defensive players. Any other team would be 0 and 7. Let the Pats haters talk about that. This will be fun hahahaha. Haters hate because their team sucks

The injury card, how cute. Literally any team can play the injury card. I'll take the Falcons because I'm a Falcons fan, they've lost for the year Julio Jones and Kory Bierman and for a long time Sean Witherspoon, they've been without Steven Jackson, Steven Nicholas, and Sam Baker, Roddy's been playing with a bum wheel and finally is missing time. Is that the reason they've sucked this year? No, they've sucked because they haven't finished games, Pats are in first because they've played a pansy ass schedule. Only 3 of their 7 games have been against tough opponents. They've gotten the Jets twice, the Bills, the Bucs and their tough games were the Falcons, Bengals and Saints. Pats are a few bad plays away from being 1-6 as well since they've won 1 game by more than a score.
AFC East is the new AFC West, whoever wins that division did it because of how sorry the rest of the division is. Seriously your number 1 competition is the Dolphins.
Disclaimer: we don't get to choose who is a Patriots fan. Talk about Hoppy.

How the hell do the Falcons get on the short list? Is it their horribly mediocre QB, or the fact that they have the second worst record out of all the Pats opponents so far? On the bright side, you get to play the bucs twice!
Falcons are the opposite end of the coin that the Pats are on. While the Pats barely beat anyone, the Falcons barely lost to anyone
And I chuckle at Ryan being a mediocre QB.
Look at the numbers this year 13 TDs 3 Picks 70.1 comp% 7.88 Y/A
Compared to Brady who's sitting at 8 TDs 5 Picks 55.4 comp% 5.99 Y/A
If Ryan is "horribly mediocre" Brady must be "horribly Tebowrific"
Stats? How about rules?
Team B players NOT ON THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE cannot push players on the line of scrimmage into the offensive formation.
Jones (the pusher on Team B) was on the line of scrimmage. So does this rule apply? No, it is not a penalty.
Let the Pats haters have fun with this one hahahahaha

That one time he won a playoff game must have been a thrill too.
Hey jackasses, we should be talking about Indy spanking Denver. Not your passé NE game that was an L
My source is the actual rule book
And you know the guy who did that video said the call was right. Hmm, maybe you're understanding what he meant as second level is wrong? Maybe the NFL cleaned up the language to make it clear since March, I dunno. Your source is a video of a guy explaining a rule who said the refs got it right, my source is the official rule book. Hmmmm wonder which one is more right. Video that may be outdated or have been misspoken, or the actual words. HMMMMMMMMMM
My source is the NFL website. If that video is outdated or incorrect then they need to update or remove that video. Show me I'm wrong and I'll happily say you are right.

There's my source, the freaking rule book.
Now hit control+F then type in "rule 9" then read down to defensive team formation (article 3) then read the very last bullet.
Can't make it any simpler.
Well from that you are right. They should update or remove the video I found from their site. From that video it seems like it deals with second level defensive but the rule book doesn't specify.
I stand corrected.
I know you guys hate the Pats and we have a lot of fun here, but how can you not be furious just as football fans?!? This isn't week one. It is a penalty that was arbitrarily flagged in overtime, almost halfway through the g.d. season!
Honestly the rule may have been second level at first, then they changed it realizing that technically something like the Pats did would be legal but is still dangerous.
I would be pissed it it happened against me. I got pissed at the refs for called OPI on Roddy White when he did push off but they missed when the defender engaged him first beyond the 5 yard buffer.
For a regular season game? Please. This was at least a rule that is clearly on the books and was enforced. The question of whether it should be a rule is a good one, and personally I don't like it. With the "tuck rule" the refs essentially made something up on the field to justify their huge man crushes on Brady and get them to the Super Bowl.
