Just ignore him Bird. We've been trying to for like an effin month now. He's delusional. Not worth the time.

Pot.. Kettle. Kettle... Pot.

And yes, the choking to teams they shouldn't possibly lose to was kind of where I was going there.

IE: The cards last year but I'm sure that was just a pity loss.

I would have thought you'd blame the flu or some such.

I'm glad we were able to all come together there for a moment of clarity to discuss the potentially brilliant season that is in store for football fans, most specifically Patriots fans. Too bad we have to actually play the season to get to the inevitable conclusion, a Patriots Superbowl. But I would be remiss if I didn't wish good luck to the also rans. Good luck guys, one of your teams will end up being the first loser.

(nodding in agreement)

(tipping the cap to the gracious display of sportsmanship)

well played sir :mug:

This is the greatest thread on here. Hands down. Never laughed so hard with the awesome comebacks. Keep it up.

Steelers are 2013-14 SB Champs......said no one ever

The Skins are taking it to playoffs at the least this year. With RGII 1/2 (he is coming back from injury I am not reinstating him back to III status yet) and Cousins, and the rest are going to take it. And then it is going to end up Skins/Lions for the Superbowl. All you bandwagoners will weep.

I succeeded in sending Cape into a conniption fit. I win.

This thread was straying a touch far from awesome football teams so I decided to bring it back on topic.

different fans besides pats packers and hawks, thank god. But no RGIII plays too hard to not be hurt half way through this season. Cousins will be good but not that good, another first round playoff loss for the skins

^ thanks roethlisberger

sigh

NEW YORK—After Jets quarterback Geno Smith finished last week’s game against the Giants with a 45.7 passer rating, head coach Rex Ryan told reporters Thursday that the team is very encouraged by the rookie’s mastery of their offensive system. “All camp we’ve watched to see if Geno understands what we’re trying to do here, and by completing barely half of his passes and throwing three interceptions against the Giants, he proved to everyone that he does,” said Ryan, adding that Smith demonstrated a firm grasp of key schematic elements such as staring down reads, throwing balls behind receivers, and rarely leading a drive of more than 20 yards. “When Geno carelessly scrambled out of the back of our end zone for a safety, I knew he was ready to lead the Jets in the regular season. He gets it.” Ryan confirmed that Smith’s greatest areas for improvement are boosting his relatively low sack and fumble totals.
