"His team needs a do-over for 2010. Bad things come in 3s. Aren't they up to about 5 now? With about a 10 second pause; Your 6th is coming with Brett wanting to return for a comeback in '11."

We're still here, heading out this morning. Looks like we'll be driving into the weather, but looks like it should have abated (no more *severe* winter storm warning) by the time we get home. Doesn't look like it's a severe storm out where we're driving through - wind and snow, but should be OK. Famous last words. You don't hear from me tonight, gents, me and the family are in a ditch somewhere on the NY State Thruway.

Wow... I just found out the Packers can still make the playoffs by winning out. That is crazy. I am not even sure how I feel about it. I mean, I am happy they could be playing more (which means me watching more football), but feel a bit guilty. I mean normally, when you go to the playoffs you have had a good year. Actually, it's probable that they'll be picking behind the Vikings as long as they lose to Philly on Tue 'cause we're beating them next Sunday.

I'm still not totally convinced that they're becoming a decent team but they've played relatively well this year. Shoulda beat the Jets... had a good start against the Pats on Turkey day, shoulda beat Philly, etc. I know, I know... shoulda, woulda, coulda. Sigh.... my fantasy football screen name isn't "longtimesuffrinLionsfan" for nothing.

Are you kidding? With the worst officiating since the Seattle vs Pittsburgh Superbowl, the Saints marched into Atlanta's house in the last week in December and hung a huge loss on them.

I'd be surprised to see Atlanta in the Conference game, let alone the Superbowl.

Before the game last night I told my wife (I am truly blessed, she is probably a bigger sports fan than me, played sports, loves sports, asked me what my man cave will be since our living room will already look like one blessed :rockin that whoever won would probably be facing your Pats in the big dance.

I really hope that prediction is accurate b/c I would rather concede the next 5 championships to the Pats (and I'd rather have baby crocodiles attack my testicles) than see an AFC rapist or an NFC sociopathic dog killer come anywhere near that trophy.

Pats v Saints would be a GREAT game, worthy of copious quantities of homebrew and ****-talk
