Don't forget the murderer in Baltimore or the OxyContin dealing Narc on the Pats.....

SWMBO said a few days a go that she realized she now has to differentiate between the criminals (like Vick, Rothlisberger, Burress, Kobe and Arenas in NBA, etc.) and the plain ole ******** and *********s she just doesn't like (Jay Cutler springs instantly to mind) when talking about athletes. Sad but true. Parker's recent indescretions aside, that's why I love my Spurs!!!

How is Kobe a criminal? Since when is cheating illegal?

Pregame pics from our seats. A little bit of zoom, but not much. Damn, that game was fun. Helluva good seats for $60, a lot close to the action that if we'd been at midfield.

$60 for seats like that?!? Very nice. I was checking out CL for some Chiefs tix to the Raiders game this weekend and there is nothing like that for $60. Nose bleed is all you can get for $60. $100+ if you want club or lower level.

I was considering taking my wife and stepson, but you're talking $500 for decent seats, parking, food, etc... That's almost the cost of a 50" plasma nowadays.

You mean "Patriots West"?

Ohh, stop trying to take credit for our awesomeness. If we labeled every player & coach with their past teams there would only be one team name in the NFL. They aren't the Pats, so don't think you're gonna get to take credit for it when we win the big one.

I would be happy as hell too see club or lower level or anywhere near $100 in Baltimore. Hell, most games you can't even get nose bleeds for under $150.

Tell me about it; try buyin your way into JerryWorld. Parking is $50 min. We figured we could get a top of the line flatscreen, the whole surround sound setup, a few brews worth of materials, AND most of a keezer for the cost to travel to Dallas, stay, eat, drink, park, and get 4 decent tix...to watch them lose and line Skeletor's pocket. No thanks, we'll support the LHBS instead :rockin:

Oh. You mean Patriots West? Is that who you're talking about? I shouldn't really call them "Patriots West" as much as the Pats JV.... And the fact that they're pretty good this year us simply a testiment to the insane levels of awesomeness the Pats have achieved.

Parking was only $15, too, maybe a five minute walk down the street from the stadium in somebody's parking lot. Nice way to pick up a couple hundred bucks eight times a year, if you've got a little space on Abbott Road. Beer was $8.50, though!

I did buy the seats a while ago, around the first week of the season, when I realized that we were almost certainly going to be in town that weekend. Seemed to be by far the best value in the stadium.

****, I even got on the Jumbotron, standing up, trying to keep my ass from freezing with two minutes to go. Of course, given how empty the stadium was at that point, odds were in my favor!

We'll do it again next year, I hope. Helps that the stadium was only a short drive from my wife's aunt, where we were staying, we left the house at 11:30 and were in our seats by noon. Nothing fancy about the stadium at all, but who cares, really? I ain't there to watch a half-billion dollar TV set.

EDIT: Adding it all up.... two tickets ~$60 per, $15 parking, couple beers, couple coffees, couple hot dogs for maybe $40 total, and my official Aaron Hernandez jersey for $30... all-in, cost up about $200 for the afternoon. Buffalo ain't a bad place to see a football game.

Yeah, local businesses in Arlington do this for Rangers games, been doin it for years. Then the ****** formerly known as Jerry "Megalomaniac" Jones comes to town, gets the city to require a permit to sell parking to Cowboys games...I'll give you 3 guesses as to where most of the profit goes & the 1st 2 don't count

Sounds like you realize just how awesome we are since you're trying to slap your teams name on us. I suppose I should take that as a compliment, so thank you for admitting that we are awesome. :D

I will admit, I used to be a big Brady fan. I had (still have some) quite a stash of Brady cards, but after their loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl, I lost faith. Then when the Chiefs took Brady out for the season in game 1 of '08, I really gave up on him. I even sold this rookie card off:

#93/199 made and the only PSA 10 in existence.

But that's the past, just like the Pats. Now it's our turn.

Damn, if I was Gisele I might even fap to that rookie card when "dreamy" was on the road.

Getting Your Money’s Worth of the Day: Tom Brady jersey - $79.99. Tom Brady jersey autographed by Dane Cook - $18.45.
Having your Tom Brady jersey devalued by $61.54 as a result of a Dane Cook autograph — priceless.

The question is... how much would a Brett Favre jersey autographed by Jenn Sterger get you? :D

You want obnoxious? Hamilton (Ontario) city council, saying they'd rather not build a new stadium, rather not fix up the old one, but the Tiger-Cats can stay here.

Absolutely. Just like the WI Badger-Mustelids and SC Gamecock-Roosters. Eventually they get rid of their last name once they're well known.

No, I get the 2 name thing...that wasn't it. Who the F&@%K are the Tiger-Cats? Are we still talkin football here?

CBS can kiss my pale hairy rear end for changing from the Steeler game to the raider/cheifs game just because it is a blowout. Maybe people want to see what a good team looks like.

Awesome, now I can watch 2 good games!!! Go Chiefs!!!

Oh yeah, F%&@ Ben Rothlisberger!!! :cross:

I imagine every big lineman that gets a good lick on him standing up and sayin "That's for my daughter/ sister/ niece motherf&*%ker!!!"

:D
