You Pack fans talk **** too quick.

The Pats fans know to, in the words of Bin Laden - "wait, be patient" :D

Not even remotely a "Pack fan," just a football fan who expected (like the rest of the football world) to turn off a 45-3 ass-whuppin at half time. My Cowboys let Rex freakin Grossman back into our game today but we screwed the pooch as far as this season goes when skeletor refused to fire grimace after the eggles embarassed us 2 yrs ago.

I just think its great when a 14 pt favorite gets challenged by a no name backup :mug:

Packers put up a helluva fight. Too bad about how it ended there - kid just wasn't ready. At least he didn't spike it, thought for a second he was going to do that. If Rodgers was out there, they probably would have already had the fourth down play called on third down.

Happens all the time, that's why Dataz loses so many bets.

Flynn looked good, but the Pats still have a lot of issues in the secondary. That first long TD pass was comical, how the Pats defenders knocked themselves out of the play - ****ing Two Stooges or something. That kind of let you know it was going to be a long night.

Still. 12-2. That's about three more wins that I thought they'd have all season. The first eleven weren't all pretty, either.

bird, I appreciate a fan that can be critical...lord knows there was a lotta that goin around down here the last couple of years!

Cheers :mug:

Probably really good for Pats to have a game like this instead of rolling over everyon going into playoffs.

f*cking woodson, catch the god damn ball!
f*cking special teams!
f*cking mccarthy!!!! how do you not prepare flynn to run a 1 minute offense? why do you let the clock wind down when you're on the 30 yard line!?

Reading comments from Flynn this morning, sounds like he didn't know on that last play whether they had gotten a first down or not, so he didn't know if he could stop the clock. That's pretty bad, they were about a yard and a half short, he's got to know where the first down marker was and he's got to be able to quickly find the guys on the sideline holding the down indicators.

man, it was paaaaaaaaaaainful sitting in that stadium last night. The ENTIRE game had that horrible, "really??? They're gonna lose this game?!?! REALLY???"

Ugggg... it was brutal.

Hey...screw it... Like I said last night a bunch of times, I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week.

12-2 is the only thing that matters.

PS... like I was saying to the Packer fan sitting next to me (nice guy... flew all the way in from Wisconsin)....

"HAHA SUCKER!!!!!! HAAAA You guys blow!!!!!! Have a nice flight back to the arctic!!!! Why don't you get some crackers to have with that effin CHEESE HAT dickwad!!!!!!!"

... oh c'mon...

I keeeeeeed..

He was a good guy.... and what I DID say was... "Not looking forward to playing that Packer team again once they're healthy."

i wish they would have just blown them out instead of getting my hopes up.

Lions are looking good. Next year is going to be interesting...

So, why are all the players whining about field conditions tonight? I know the field is going to be frozen... but aren't the underground heating coils something that's been introduced within the past ten or so years? What about the Ice Bowl? "The Frozen Tundra"? Playing on a frozen field, that's nothing new.

Players just sound like a bunch of *******, honestly.

The Packers will not win the Superbowl this year.

Now that I know that the Packers at medium strength would have crushed the Patriots, it brings me no joy to see them flounce around with a inflated record and get a roll of the dice at the Superbowl craps table.

Imagine how I feel about the ****ing Bears.

Well, At least I have a realistic vision of where my team is. I hope this game in Minny turns out to be an NFL Donner party.

I love seeing this. Coming from a real quiet mild mannered guy, this is awesome.

I'm still waiting for somebody on the Giants to grow a pair and level DeSean Jackson, that no-class having *********.

I was soooo wishing the ******** would have got the ball slapped out of his hand or flat out dropped it as he was doing the little hortizontal run along the end zone.

Oh and its "52 year old crackhead gramma living in a trailer with no running water used ****** nozzle" for him.

meh. The dude just made an impossible play with to win the game. He had space to move and a chance to run out any remaining time. I think it is a smart move. Get some space and check the clock (which you can clearly see him do), then duck in for the win. I have no problem with that at all. We'll never know, but what if he leaves 3 seconds on the clock, and the Giants run the kick back??? Unlikely, I know, but why risk it? I didn't think his celebration was excessive and the run in was clearly to look at the clock.

I'm a vikings fan, this is no secret. This will not come as a shock but...

I want the bears to go down in flames tonight. Then the same in week 17. Any team that weak, who takes advantage of the self destructive lions and Vikings, the beat up pack, gets their butts kicked at home against a top team (pats) AND loses at home to a mediocre team (sea).

I feel dirty but I want the packers to represent the NFC north. They're the best team. They hung with the pats and exposed some weaknesses without Rodgers. I still don't trust cheese heads though.

Btw, I realize the hypocrisy of this argument due to the mere existence of the NFC west.

Thing is that the clock was already at 0 when he did it.

Re; Jackson. Didn't think of it from a time clock standpoint but THAT would be a smart move. I just don't see DuhSean being that smart. He's looking for season two: Duh Tocho Show with his heros.

philrose, you're an all right guy ;). FYI, I always go Packers->NFC North->NFC in my rooting factor when it comes to the playoffs. Same goes college bball, fball etc.

I think it's really stupid for Jackson to do this. He's done this a couple of times, not just when the game is over. All that does is give a ref. a little more time to call a hold or illegal block. Also, you can't see everything on the monitor. Someone could easily be coming from an angle and swipe the ball.

He doesn't get much benefit of the doubt, not with his history. Dropping the ball on the one-yard line his rookie year, which cost me a friggin' game in the fantasy league (had McNabb, lost a TD reception due to that ******* play, lost that week by like two points). I do think it was PROBABLY to run out the clock, but DeSean *loves* having the camera on him, too.

What is it that makes wide receivers always, always, ALWAYS a football team's primadonna?

Thing is that the clock was already at 0 when he did it.

...and he has a LONG history of doing crap like that. Started in high school (dropped the ball before getting into the end zone being cocky), did the exact same thing a couple of years ago vs. Dallas, had that douchey fall into the end zone move against Dallas last week, & now this. He doesn't get the benefit of the doubt b/c we all know he's an ass!!!

Blah blah blah. Now people "know" a healthy Packer team would crush the Pats and the Packers "exposed" some things.

Gimme an effin break. How "exposed" did the Pats end up when they gagged one up against Cleveland? "ohhhhh the Pats suck! They lost to Cleeeevland. Cleveland showed the Pats d isnt ready for prime time yet!"

And what happened? Whooooooops 12 and effin 2.

Here's what people "know"... The Packers came in and played a good game last night considering the huge number of injuries they've had. And they lost. "But the Packers!!!". Yeah, the Packers lost. "but we!!". Yeah... You lost. "if we had!!!l". Awesome... You lost.

And what does that mean??? Uhh. Nuthin more than the Pats are now 12-2 and the Pack is 8-6. Thats it. Thats all it means.

Would the Packers win the next 50 outta 50? Sure. Why not? If that makes you feel better... Sure. If you want to think that in magic make beleive world, have at it. You take the 50 super duper make believe wins and I'll takethe ugly real win from last night.
