You kidding, Dataz? St. Louis should win at least eight games THIS season (they've still got to play Seattle and San Fran). Doubt they knock off New Orleans, but the Kansas City game could be good.

Good QBs always get a *lot* better between their rookie and second seasons. I could easily see them at nine or ten wins next season.

In fact, you wanna bet on it? ;)

They are playing arguably 2 of the 3 best divisions in football. I think Rams will go probably 4-2 in their division at the very best and they would be lucky to get 3 or 4 wins against those other 2 divisions. If they end up winning their division this year then their other games would be against the NFC division winners so probably Atlanta and Green Bay (I think thats how the schedule works at least). 9 or 10 wins would be really damn difficult.

EDIT: I don't care what division they're playing next season, you can't tell which divisions are actually any good until halfway through the season. AFC North has two good teams and two bad teams. NFC East, same deal. Add up all the wins and losses this year for those two divisions, what do you get?

49-47.

How's that scary?

I didn't see this before. I would be willing to bet that both Cleveland and Dallas will be a lot better next year. I think both divisions will have 3 teams in playoff contention next year.

How can those divisions be so great when only four of the eight teams are any good? OK, *maybe* Dallas rebounds, but still... 51% winning percentage. Now I know, if you won 51% of your bets, that's be about 51% better than you've been doing this year, but there are some pretty ****ty teams in those divisions as well. And, a LOT can change over an offseason.

Plus, I think you're sleeping on Bradford. Take a look at his numbers versus your boy, Joey Flaccid. Pretty comparable in aggregate to Flaccid's rookie season. Bradford's throwing more TDs and fewer pick, but both very good. Bradford's QB rating is a **** hair higher and he's thrown for more yards/game, but St. Louis also asks him to throw more. Overall, a decent comparison.

How much better did Flaccid get LAST year?

Forget the divisions, there's too much uncertainty to make projections based on that. St. Louis is basically a .500 ballclub with a rookie QB; give him another offseason, I don't see them going backwards.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I am not knocking Bradford at all. He is damn good and only going to to get much better. I am just saying the team isn't that good. They are the best in the JV league, but that doesn't really mean much. Get a better team around Bradford and that team could be damn good. He isn't Manning or Brady (yes, I said it Brady is talented) yet and he won't be able to make something out of nothing with a mediocre at best team.

... but if his division is as bad next year as I think both assume it will be, that's six *very* winnable games right there. Even if he doesn't win every division game, they'll be favorites in them. A game against Cleveland here (count me a skeptic), a game against the Bungles there... Washington's not going anywhere... I don't see how that's not a .500+ squad. Not eleven- or twelve-wins, but 9-7 seems very easy to attain.

Wait, they're actually playing the Vikings-Giants game in Detroit now, tomorrow night? Wow.

Only being aired loacally and sunday ticket though. So it isn't being treated like a monday night game.

Free tickets to NFL game!*

*must survive trip through detroit for free tickets

I heard that. How are they going to do that? Just the first 70,000 people through the gates?

That's what they did when they moved the Chargers game to Arizona because of the fires in ~2003...

They had a nice idea to have people donate $ for charity rather than charging for tickets. But the cheap bastids in AZ didn't donate much...

i was busy brewing during the 1st half. i saw jennings drop that touchdown. came back with 2 minutes left in the half, heard rodgers was out for the game. unbelieveable.

What is up with fox playing background music during the game? I've never noticed that before.

I, for one, would like to congratulate the lions for not blowing an opportunity against a beat up team.

The Pats are OWNING the Bears. Besides the snowfall, it's not even entertaining.

oh and seriously, Buffalo? seriously? Delhomme needs to be traded to the glue factory.

packers' season is over.

McCarthy's season strategy of playing to a 11-5 record blew up in his face. that's what happens when you play to lose.

Oh it's entertaining.....Homebrew and the Pats. Doesn't get any better than that..

Hate to say it, but Pats look like the best team in the NFL...again. What I want to know is how in hell the f@&%ing bears beat my Boys. Oh, thats right. We wasted half a season w/ yuk yuk because our owner is a moron. I almost forgot. I'm better now. Thank god for beer :tank:
