Don't get too conceited, though. Wife and I were watching EPSN last night, they were talking about the Cowboys' issues. "Wade Phillips is still coaching them? No wonder they suck."

Depends on which Seahawks team you're talking about. The road team or the home team. I swear... watch this weekend. They'll give the giants a hard time in Qwest.

I promise I will watch...I will be there. Rough weekend ahead... I have to go watch the #1 Oregon Ducks in Eugene on Saturday and then make a trip up to Qwest to watch the Seahawks on Sunday. Matt Hasselbeck may die in this game.

It's been a bitter pill to swallow this year! The Cowboys have so much talent, but it's all been wasted. You need someone who can harness that, and motivate and discipline the players.

Hopefully Jones will do what's right and make wholesale changes and bring a top-notch head coach in there. There's not much anyone can do about the season at this point, so we may not see a big move until it's over.

<slinks off to go pout in the corner>

Whatever. I still think on any particular Sunday, the Cowboys are dangerous. I just hope they keep up their stinking ways for at least one more week...

I always fear the Cowboys games. That is probably just because of the 90's though.

only 3 hours and 15 minutes until Moss is back in a Pats uni while being paid by the Vikings and the Pats holding a Vikes third round pick.

Thing is, are we 100% convinced they WANT Randy back?

The one team I was worried about was the JETS. Sounds like they are not putting in a waiver claim, thought they might both to give ANOTHER weapon to their wideout corps and to keep him out of New England. Wouldn't be the end of the world if a team like St. Louis made a claim.

I would take him back with open arms... How freakin' easy would it be for Belichick to look Moss in the eyes and basically say, "You effin SNEEZE the wrong way and you're outta here"... and how many other coaches OTHER than Belichick could say that to Moss and Moss would actually listen?

Moss to the Titans.

Little surprised he didn't get claimed by Miami. Titans should be a good home for him, though. Jeff Fischer's a pretty damn professional coach, there's no doubt who's in charge of that locker room. Vince Young's got an arm, he'll get him the ball downfield. Teams will hesitate to put the safety all the way back all game when Chris Johnson's in the backfield. Once Kenny Britt gets back, should be a pretty damn good team running and passing, and Fischer's teams always play pretty good D.

Just glad it wasn't Miami or the JETS.

All I can say is that if he didn't want that chicken/ribs/pasta, he can bring it on down here and I'll eat it! Dang you gotsta be a real PROFESSIONAL to have such good taste that FREE Ribs/chicken/pasta is below you.

What a jerk.

I ain't got a dog in the fight anymore, but that whole "complaining about the spread" thing sounds a lot like someone in Minnesota saying whatever they can to make Moss look like a jerk. They ****ed up, they're trying desperately to backpedal so they don't look more like idiots than they already do. Did he really go on a tirade about the food? Has anyone actually confirmed that?

Not necessarily, but I sure as hell wouldn't put it past the Vikings to put out bull**** to try and cover their tracks. For all we know, he DID complain, but just said something half under his breath to a teammate.

In any case, sure seems to me that the Vikings are trying to show that they were somehow being honorable in cutting the guy, when you know that there ain't a team in the world that would cut someone because they talked smack about the postgame spread.

Chilly cut Moss because he's too big of a ***** to deal with Favre. He had to make some kind of statement to try and get control back of the locker room, but he's just made it more of a circus.

EDIT: I should just say, I probably wouldn't put it past Moss to be a dick about the spread, but it's irrelevant - even if he was, that's got absolutely nothing to do with why he was cut. "We're cutting Moss because we're a class organization and that was unacceptable behavior!"..... yeah.

TFH theory #1: Moss had a vendetta against the Vikings org from when they traded him to Oakland and intended on facking them all along. And succeeded epically. Chilly/Vikings finally realized this and waived him ASAP.

TFH theory #2: Moss failed a drug test and the Pats found out about it so they traded him.

That must have been some damn good beer I had last night.:drunk:

The report about the dinner thing came from several players first and only after did the owner guy speak to reporters. Chris Johnson confirmed this morning it is not the first time he knows of something like that happening with Randy.

I haven't heard from anyone that they cut him for classy reasons. I think he didn't fit well, was a nuisance in the locker room and his performance wasn't worth all the hassle. Simple as that, just looks bad because it was such a colossally dumb move (3rd rounder, paying the contract et al.).

paying the contract

They aren't paying the contract... when the Titans claimed him, they took over the contract as well. Only way the Vikes would have been on the hook for his contract would be if Moss passed through waivers and became a free agent. Then the Vikes would have to pay him the rest of the $3.338 (or whatever it was) no matter what happened.

Oh absolutely... Childress looks like an absolute tool... the Vikes are off the hook on the cash though.

Think Childress was sweating bullets as 4:00 ticked closer yesterday thinking, "Sweet mother of God, PLEASE let someone grab him so I don't have to explain to my boss that he is still paying Randy $3.3 million to play for some other team".

The local radio show here interviewed the caterer earlier in the week and he confirmed it.

He said Favre shook his head and threw his helmet down then left to the training room. Someone else said "Shut the f** up Randy" and everyone was quiet after that. Moss left the room and didn't eat.

What the hell? Pryor got fined $7,500 for his hit on Favre despite not drawing a penalty. That's asinine. It was perfect tackling form, face mask buried in the chest.

Bogus.

That is a BS fine. Perfectly legal hit. On the other hand, I loved seeing harrison get another big ass fine. Looks like the people of pitt are going to be taking up another collection for his broke whiny ass
