I have absolutely NO clue how to read the playoffs. No one scares me but then again, the Pats shouldn't scare anyone else. Colts are a total f'in sham and aren't remotely clsoe to as good as their record and now the "starters" will have played less then 4 quarters of football in a MONTH by their first game next week.

The Saints? Downhill ever since they tossed the perfect game against the Pats.

Ravens?? Pats already beat 'em once and now they're coming to Gillette... in the playoffs? Not scared?

Chargers? blah blah blah... they've been the "hot team" for freakin' ever. I'll believe in them when they actually win something.


Jets? pfft... Bengals? pfft...

BUT... hell, the way the Pats are playing, i would lump them in with all of above.

From a Packer fan who recently lived in (AZ) and currently living in (MN) enemy territories all I can say is the future looks bright. 6-10 last year and a respectable opponent in the playoffs this year. A pro bowl QB who looks like the real deal and I believe the 2nd youngest team in the league.

Could get knocked out in AZ or even make it to the NFC championship if things were aligned. As a realist I'll leave it at that and be happy they're in and enjoy the game(s).

If AZ wins that's where I will root next (like ollllo). MN I'm not sure yet. And for the record, No angst with them having Favre. Stay tuned for the annual retirement circus.

It'll be which QB can handle the pressure better. From a DEF advantage I give the edge to MN since their at home and their DEF will also give Romo fits probably >= Dallas to Favre. Viking pressure could make Romo go, well... Romo'ish. Or vise versa. Whoever is behind after 2nd half; history I bet repeats itself.

Plus, you have met the O-Line of MN haven't you? And this from a GB fan... Sacks allowed: DAL 34, MN, 34.

O.K., now that I've played nice, I hope you get to see all of the shiite slung out of either team. If it's the Cheatriots (which I probably like less than convict Ray Lewis, if that's possible), there won't be anything left but uniforms and tennis shoes. The only good thing about them playing is that when the 2 teams get together, it will warm up here. Them & their fans suck so much it will pull the cold weather north.
