If Brady pulled that crap I would think he was about 97% the total ****** that Sherman is and that 3% is only because Brady has actually earned the right to talk some trash. He IS among the top players ever to play the game. He's WON three Super Bowls and no QB in the history of the game has played in more SBs. First ballot HOF who will go down as top 3 QBs in history... RIGHT NOW.

Sherman's made two effin' Pro-Bowls and won an NFC Championship game.... Whoopity effin doo. The guy talks like he's won everything in the history of sports. He's a really good CB. He needs to get over himself.

In the grand scheme of things you're right, but it is completely reasonable for the sports fan in all of us to hate him. Add to that that if he were to lose in two weeks or down the line blow out a knee or something he'd be the first to cry "why are people saying its karma or happy about this" when he in fact will have brought that response upon himself.

But the thing is, they are role models. A high school kid playing CB on his high school football will look up to him as a role model and want to be like him one day. Kids will pick up anything he says or does. That is part of the reason people talk about stuff like this. I'm not saying what he did was right or wrong, I'm merely saying athletes are role models and need to be held to higher standards when in the public eye.
