I don't think anyone can ligitimately be a "thug", regardless of race, background, etc... after graduating from Stanford. I think you basically turn in your "thug" card during orientation Freshman year.

Brady doesn't get up in players faces and then tweet it. Brady doesn't scream, yell, make the "choke" sign, and talk massive amounts of incoherant bullsht every time a camera is on him. Brady's coach has never had to come out and publically address one of Brady's little outbursts.

He's a troll. He's a real life troll. He instigates this stuff and then acts dumbfounded when people don't like him. He gets the vitriol because he deals it out. You can't watch his reaction and think there isn't a palpable venom and anger. He can say what he wants and justify it however he wants but that's who he is. He's interaction with skip bayless is probably the worst. Bayless is a terrible idiot and from what I understand a pretty terrible person. However, that doesn't mean you sink to his level. What he did, to belittle an already dislikable man the way he did, to come after him in that was not challenging his views or opinions, but it was cruel. He can defend it any way he wants but he took the time and thought out how he would best try and humiliate an already pathetic and sad little man.

Erin andrews even said she loved the interview because thats what they want is raw emotion and the one time they actually get it apparently its wrong.

That's such crap. You can respect everything that he has accomplished and still be disgusted at his actions. His "expressing" himself is always at the expense of others to bring attention to himself. He thrives on belittling others and using them to propel himself. The example of Muhammad Ali is also a poor one. Is the writer condoning the extrodinarily cruel things that Ali did like publicly calling other black men "field ******s" or "gorillas"? He propelled himself to extrodinary heights in part by belittling a decent man in Frazier so that he could be the center of attention. That doesn't take away from all the amazing accomplishments in Ali's life, but that is part of the story. The concept that it teaches us we don't like success by the lower class is a horrible argument. As is the idea that because some NFL players are genuine criminals we should embrace Sherman's actions.

But the large majority of what is being posted and said to Sherman directly is a classic example of what he is talking about in his column. The racial backlash is absurd and pretty sickening, and the only reason it is happening is because he was a poor black man that grew up in compton. If Brady pulled that crap I would think he was about 97% the total ****** that Sherman is and that 3% is only because Brady has actually earned the right to talk some trash. He IS among the top players ever to play the game. He's WON three Super Bowls and no QB in the history of the game has played in more SBs. First ballot HOF who will go down as top 3 QBs in history...
