Hadn't realized how much the Houston Texans were just the Patriots' JV squad. Bill O'Brien, Romeo Crennell, and Mike Vrabel coaching. QBs are Mallet and Hoyer. Vince Wilfork on the D-line. Only reason to watch "Hard Knocks" is to watch the old guys.

Got to love Sun King!

Don't be that pessimistic...did you forget about the Raiders

Raiders have Derek Carr, Khalil Mack, and just drafted Amari Cooper. Jets have Ryan Fitzpatrick and our best defensive player was just arrested for driving 190 mph (allegedly), while high as **** (allegedly), with a gun (it's Missouri, it's cool), and with a child in the front (it's cool, the kids don't go to school here anymore). Sad to say, but the Raiders are a much better team than the Jets and could be very good in the next few years if they continue to draft and develop well.

I caught the article last night on the Jets and just cringed... and for a split second... felt bad for you Darwin...

"Jet's organization reprimands Geno Smith for playing catch with friend"

Eeeeeesh.

The sad thing is that I wasn't even surprised. Geno acting like a ****tard and throwing around a football just a couple days after having a steel plate screwed into his face? No surprise there. This is what we do. We're a joke.

But seriously, who's gonna beat Seattle? Elite QB, elite running game, best defense in the league...etc. Can NE really expect half the defense to be out or injured and gifted a last second INT again (if they even make the big game)?

But seriously, who's gonna beat Seattle? Elite QB,

Stopped reading anything else you typed after that. No, just no. Elite? That's hilarious.

Manning, Brady, Rodgers. Those are elite QBs.

Raptistburger, Luck, Rivers, Brees. Those are excellent QBs. Not elite, but close to it.

Russell Wilson is black Jesus here in Raleigh (no one remembers how we ran him out of town) but he's arguably a more athletic Matt Cassell. I'd rather have Alex Smith as my starting QB.

But, but, buuuuuuuuttttttt.....he won a Superbowl as rookie and went to another last year. So what? His team has an elite defense, running game, and they pipe in the crowd noise to give themselves a ridiculous home field advantage. Mark Sanchez took a similar script to back-to-back AFC Championship games before he imploded.

I am going to agree not elite, but that title takes time to earn... but given his short career compared to the other names you have mentioned I don't think anyone should underestimate Wilson. He is proving himself and I think will continue to in the years to come.

Not surprising a Jets fan would totally botch his comeback. He's easily in the second tier behind Rodgers and Luck. Brady is no longer top tier...he can't even throw a mid range ball...all system, slant pass, BS fvcking sham QB dishonorable piece of scrotum.

Wilson didn't win a Super Bowl as a rookie and if he did he'd clearly be in the top tier with Rodgers and Luck.

You shut your butt. He's easily at the top of the next tier behind Rodgers and Luck.

Based off of what, exactly? His stats are pedestrian at best. He fortunate to play on a team that has a top-5 defense (easily best secondary) and has a great under-rated RB. Wilson is a good quarterback but so is Joe Flacco - neither are elite, though.

FWIW, I was a huge fan of Wilson when he was at NC State. He was a criminally under-rated QB here. Tom O'Brien was an absolute retard for going with Mike Glennon and telling Wilson to hit the road.

decision making, leadership and yes his numbers are damn good. Quit looking at "total" stats like douchy Pats fans and look at "per" stats, turnovers, attempts....what the offense is asking of him.

"his stats are pedestrian at best" You should jump off your roof with that garbage

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You typed that with a straight face too didn't you?

"Leadership"!?

Yeah... don't look at all his stats... just a small subset that I can convince myself matter.

You so crazy
