Does anyone know if oblong / racetrack / oval kettles in 10-15 gallon size are available anywhere?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to use two 1800W induction hobs instead of one 3500W.

Both the areas I brew in have outlets that alternate between two dedicated 20A circuits so using two hobs wouldn't need to have a new 220 line installed.

To do this I would need a kettle that covers most, if not all, of a 16" x 9" area.

(I originally posted this in a forum that I found via a search ... I didn't realize that the forum was a sub-forum of DIY and now, knowing that, I probably wouldn't have started the post there.)

I saw this when you first posted it, but didn't respond because I don't know. I suspect that, if you couldn't find anything on line, neither could anyone else. The only oblong vessels I see are galvanized iron troughs for farm and ranch use.

Of course, for enough money you can have nearly anything custom built. No idea who or how much, though.

If you have two induction hobs, why not use two kettles? Just split the wort and kettle ingredients. The extra valve and fittings would be much cheaper than a custom kettle with (probably) near zero resale value. Good luck!

Sometimes after staring at something for a little too long you get blinded to the obvious alternatives.

Two kettles or a larger kettle are options that I'll add into consideration along with just getting the 3500w burner and adding 220V outlets.

Thanks for the responses.
