I had opened up the tap and reinstalled the little "bomb", if you will, backwards. It was running liquid no matter what i did and instantly panicked as if id broke if. Once I figured my stupid error I couldn't figure out how to delete the thread so to hide my shame I just altered it

It's a rarity that anything actually gets deleted here on HBT. We're all about posterity here!
Anyway, one never knows who might land on a thread when Googling from afar, and any help they might glean can only enhance ones karma.
So you have that going for you...
