If you're buying the one from Brew Hardware, then you don't need to swag the 6.3 mm to it. That shank has the included push to connect fitting for 8mm O.D. beer/gas line. You just connect your EVA beer line to it and your good to go. No swag tool needed. The 8mm line has two different inner diameters that work with that shank/fitting. 4mm (recommended for shorter lines) and 5mm.
I was going to use the duo fit connection for the shank I got the one that connects with duo fit and was gonna connect the 4mm line to that. The 6.3mm ID line I was referring too was for the barb on the regulator and I figure I had to widen that a bit.

Yeah, didn't want to go there with all the threads I've read about people struggling to modify their regulator connections. Swaging EVABarier isn't hard. Really.

Yea I honestly think I have more of a chance buggering up the regulator messing with that then just swagging the tubing.

I got another question for you.

If i did this sequence:

1) Turned off CO2 shut off valve lever on regulator
2) Used PRV on keg to release all the pressure
3) Turned the knob on the CO2 tank completely off
4) used the PRV on the regulator to drain all remaining CO2 from it, so both high pressure and low pressure gauges returned to 0 psi
5) turned knob on CO2 back on and then rotated level on regulator to the on position

Would this have done any damage to the beer, possibly adding air into the keg?

As long as you didn't leave the prv on the keg or regulator latched open, I don't think there was air admittance of significance at either end...

Cheers!

Okay so got everything setup and got a keg of a double IPA called tired hands punge.

We will see if flavor changes in coming days. I did have some rather large bubbles in beer line at 10 psi at 38 degrees. I raised to 11 psi and most went away however I have 5 smaller bubbles near the coupler exit. Should I be concerned. It’s been about 24 hours or so. Beer is pouring pretty nicely not excessively foamy.

Should I up the pressure a bit more to 12 psi? Or is there another issue? I have not detected any leaks.
