I was hoping you could share your favorite nugget centered recipes. I somehow ordered an extra two pounds in my recent nikobrew order. I know what you're thinking... no, I wasn't drinking :sly:

I do plan on smashing an ipa with it

I just had a bottle of Nugget Nectar. Yum! I haven't brewed it but I bet that you could find a clone for it.

I think Nugget is an all around good hop to use. Especially in Pale Ales. I try to keep 2 pale ales on tap all the time. One of them uses Nugget and here it is.

70% eff. 6 gallon batch.

9# 14oz Marris Otter (regular ole 2-row will work fine)
10oz Carapils
9oz CaraMunich

1oz Nugget (12.3%) @ 60 MIN
1oz Columbus (13%) @ 5 MIN
1oz Columbus @ 0 MIN (If you can, Whirlpool in kettle for at least 10 minutes before you start chilling)

Mash @ 152 for 60 MIN.

SA05 for the yeast.

Dryhop .75oz of Columbus and 1oz of Nugget.

OG 1.048
FG 1.012


Comes out a really nice crisp pale ale.

I have a Nugget hop vine that is on schedule to have quite the yield this year, so I'm interested as well! I will probably brew an all Nugget IPA or APA with it.
