Newbie here!!! I just purchased a nucool fridge for $20 of Craigslist. What caught my eye is the room it had and then realized it has no compressor. Would I be able to ferment? Do I need a temperature control? I know I'm going to have to do some cutting on the door in order to fit the carboy or bucket.

I also built a temperature control and I plan on keeping the fridge in the basement which get 64 in the winter and 68 in the summer.
