I've found a great grain bill for a pale ale that i want to experiment with. Would it be worth using some nottingham?

I have always liked nottingham for just about anything from ciders to stouts and I think it works very well in a pale ale, just keep your ferm temps in the low to mid 60's. US-05 is another great option.

I like pales brewed with Notty. Over the winter I fermented all my beers with notty because it does well at low temps. I have been fermenting at 58°F with it with great results. If you can get the temp that low it almost has a lager profile, just super clean.

I'm on the Notty train, just have to keep it low, like others have mentioned... around 60. Too much warmer and it gives the beer a tart aftertaste. It's an extremely clean yeast, so there's not much profile to it.
