I dunno. I trust duck tape a LOT, but a blowoff will have it's way with you, whether you like it or not. Good luck with that.

Is that a Fermonster? It looks like the Fermonster lid. Ever since I switched to fermenting 5.5 gallons of wort in the 7 gallon Fermonster, I haven't needed a blowoff. Plenty of headspace.
