I bottled a batch of kolsch last sunday. I know, it's been only 6 days. This is one of my favorite styles of beer, so i was excited to try one.. I tried one and it didn't have any carbonation. This is my second batch. IIRC, i tried my first batch after a week and it had carbonation. I used flip-top bottles. Could it be the bottles or do i just need some more patience.

I know what your gonna say, i just want to hear it anyway...:D

Well, I vote for the not enough patience! Some of mine take 3 weeks to carb up, while others do in a week. I use almost all Grolsch bottles, and unless you really screw up, it's hard to not get them on right.

Have a brew and watch the game. Wait another week, and it'll be good!

I know patience is important, but i made a kolsch and it's been in the botle for almost 2 weeks. I've got zero carbonation. I pour a beer and it looks like i'm drinking apple juice. It tastes pretty good, alittle more fruity that the kolsch i drink.
Like i said before, i'm using flip-tops. How thw hell can i have "F'd" this up?

I'm trying to think what i diferently than my first batch that has tons of carbonation.
