got left home by my self in the first time in forever... No homebrew availailable... :( but I canned up about 5 gallons of sauerkraught... Oh yeah and went in the base ment and found the box of liquor that's been packed up since we moved! Killed off the bottle of seagrams and working on the bottle of brandy... All mixed with diet coke (i haven't had a beer in 6 months so I'm toasted) well anyways hopefully gonna brew my firat AG tomorrow... Not sure the point of my post but well... You decide :)

no I'm good to go... Wife isn't/wasn't real happy with me but you'll have that!

I reread my first post and think I did pretty damn good typing with 2 1/2 keyboards....

sorry about this being in the wrong forum... I just felt like a "beginner" after 2 drinks...

You know, you gave me an idea.

But now, I'm really forced to move this thread to a different place!

We do an occasional homebrew swap on the forum. But wouldn't it be a great thing to do an "anything" swap? I mean, homemade soap, sauerkraut, BBQ sauce, roasted coffee beans, whatever it is that we all make that isn't beer.

I'd gladly swap some homebrew/soap/lotions/bath salts for something like a jar of antipasta or sauerkrat!

I'd be in for something like that.

That works for me. I have a buddy who makes some homemade beef jerky... I'll have to get in touch with him to see if he'll make a gift of some if I make a similar gift of homebrew... seeing what the liquor laws are like, I can't actually trade beer.

never been in on a swap before but when I read the post to my wife she was like "oooohhhh homemade soap! "

lol

the kraught tastes great but throws you off cause it's pink ( I used some of the red cabbage in it)

where do you guys usually post about the swaps at?

oh yeah ... Never got to brew either... Had 20... 10 year old girls over for my daughters birthday slumber party... Only have 5 left at 10:15!

I'd love to swap other things as well. I'm making soap someday (when I get caught up on the things I have to do...). Got some saurekraut working right now! I even have 2 mason jars of it in addition to the gallon or so in the main crock (glass cookie jar).

I ended up with 7 quarts, 13 pints and a half pint... And probably ate a pint while canning! Lol it was good....

also homercidal.. We could swap in person as I goto reed city every Monday...lol
