All the players and most of the fans have pretty short attention spans. They need to stop the game every 5-10 seconds to figure out what's going on and what to do next.

Conklin would have gotten more $ than the Wings could afford. Ozzie can do it, if he gets his head in the right place, and the defense plays in front of him a bit better. Sometimes it's just knowing what the other person is going to do.

As far as Howard, I would like to have faith in him, but it seems that he has just enough potential to keep the Wings interested. They had to bring him on or spend more $ on another goalie. We'll see what he does after a few more games.

I know they are going to have to play a lot more smarter and luckier against Mason! He had some glove saves that were amazing!

Damn, the leafs are sucking....no big surprise, but come on, they should have been able to beat the Sens.

On a bright note, Gustavsson played well for his first game. If his own player never knocked him into the net on the first goal and Alfie never got the penalty shot, it could have been a different game.

I give credit to Osgood, he had plenty of good saves, Hawks could've scored 5 or 6 if not for outstanding goalie performance.

Where the hell was Kane tonight? Only 4 points in 3 games???

I think not scoring on the 5 on 3 really turned the momentum around.

Oh god, I just read that Franzen tore his ACL and will miss 4 months! That is a huge blow for the Wings.

If NHL insists on shootouts, they should have at least 10 minute OT.
