first off id like to introduce myself...my name is josh i'm new to the brew world. and still a rookie to wine making, although i've made a few pretty darn good batches of fruit wine
this forum has answered a bunch of questions for me.
although i do have one i havent found yet. i just made a kit batch, five gal., of ipa last night. this morning i noticed it coming through the air lock. i pulled it apart gave it a gentle stir and attached it. just noticed about five minutes ago that its now worse than it was this morning the lid has a light layer of foam and brew. would it be fine if i stirred it up good and put half of the wort into another ferm bucket? that way i have more head space? or would this make something go wrong or kill the flavor?
