Good afternoon all
I'm new to the brew world but am learning fast and love it.
I just finished a Stone Brewery clone all grain. Very much hoppy and smells great I just transferred it from my primary fermenter to a secondary. It took a week to stop fermentation .start g was1.80 ended at 1.10
I'm thinking around 9% does that sound right. And I was also surprised how much trub was left after I racked it off approx 3" left in my glass 6 gal carboy I ended up with little over 4 gallons I'll be able to bottle. I have a never ending desire to keep brewing and building my system and learn so much from each of you and if I have anyone near Suffolk va that want to trade ideas hit me up. Thanks for reading my post and stay thirsty!

Welcome!

For a big, hoppy beer that amount of trub sounds about right. Your ABV calculation sounds about right too.

The most common advice you will see is to read "How to Brew" by Palmer. A free version is on-line.
