Hello to all. I am from Jackson, MS and I run an Internet company weliveoutside.com. I have noticed some homebrewing sites that have linked to my site, and when I chase it down it is usually a question about BTU's, specific burners, or some sort of regulator (PSI) question.
I do not claim to be an expert, but I worked with Bayou Classic for 2 years before I opened the website and do have some experience in the previous stated fields.
I know some of you use Bayou Classic, and I thought it would be nice to have someone close to the source to answer any questions you may have.
I haven't brewed any beer yet, but it is something that I want to try.

From what I have read so far you guys know how to brew. I will be looking forward to any questions, and my own first attempt at home brewing.

Just wanted to drop a line and say hello. I've just begun my research and have started to put together my equipment. One thing that would be very helpful is a relationship with a few local homebrewers. I got lucky today... called Rainbow Whole Food Co-Op looking for supplies... long story short there's a guy named Patrick that works there. He's a brewer and he and a hand full of others are putting together a homebrew club in Jackson area! Thought I'd pass this info along to ya. You could call him and he would put you on the email list for the next meeting! They had a "brew" meeting last time and plan to this time as well. It should be helpful! BTW they didn't carry the "beeraphernalia" at Rainbow Co-Op. I'm putting my email below, if you're seriously looking to get brewing feel free to contact me, two heads are better than one:) .

That sounds cool. I need to find out what all I need to get started. If you need any burners or anything like that the main office is in Brandon and they have an outlet store there if you need anything.
