New Yeast to Me

[Bayou Fatma Brewer]

Brewing an English Bitter ESB and was thinking of using CellarScience English Dry Yeast. Anyone ever use this yeast and/or like it ?

I’ve used it. I expect English dry yeast (Nottingham, S-04, etc…) to start fast, ferment strong, finish quick, and drop clear. Other than dropping clear, I did not experience those characteristics with this yeast. The beer tasted as expected but fermentation performance was lackluster.

Well I already ordered some and was wondering if you dehydrated it b4 using? I will try that in hopes of better fermentation. Approximately how long did it take to finish?
