I just took the first bottle of the first batch that I used my new wort chiller on out of the fridge and there is not a bit of chill haze, and I didn't use any irish moss or whirlfloc!

The new chiller is just a 50' long 3/8" diameter coiled copper tube. I stirred as it chilled, and it cooled a 5 gallon batch to 70 degrees F in 7 minutes! I think the stirring helped a lot (basically whirlpooled it). This just proves that you don't need anything fancy to chill quickly.

Not to rain on your parade, but I have the Chill Wizzard by Sabco and I can chill 11 gallons from 212 to 68 in 7-10 minutes flat!! I love it!! Enjoy your set up, because it works for you!

Yeah well MINE can chill from 212 to 65 in 2 minutes! It's 100ft of copper, and I pump liquid nitrogen through it! So neener.

...actually I'm just kidding. I can cool down to 75 or so within 15-20 minutes, and that seems to work for me. :D

I was very surprised that a simple immersion chiller worked so well. I was expecting more like 20 minutes. It's great that we can make great beer with simple equipment.

get a chiller, a wine degasser paddle, attach it to a drill... instant mega whirlpool machine.

So, 'loop, tell me... what are your feelings on hot side aeration? ;)

I've got a dual-coil chiller that works well. I just stir gently until I'm around 120° or so, then I'll stir a little more aggressively. I'm jonesing for a pump so I can get the CFC working (the burner's too low to use gravity).

Was that a joke or do you actually own one?

Yeah I pulled the trigger on the Sabco Brewmagic system, a converted keg fermenter and the Chill Wizzard in December of 06. Very pricey, but it truly is an awesome setup!!! You could make one for a lot less money, but it would'nt come in the cool Black Box! Anyway, it is a therminator plate chiller and a march pump.
