Greetings, I’m new to the site and new to my kegerator. I could use some help in troubleshooting foam and attached 2 pictures. The nice pour is Stella which is great. The problem is on my second tap which is Coors Light. Dual CO2, started at 10psi and at 12 now. The increased pressure made the Stella even better but no change to Coors. It’s an Insignia kegerator with I think 5 foot lines. I set the stat to 35f but I don’t know what the beer temperature is and I have installed a tower tube cooler fan which works great.

Thanks for any help!

Ok so being new I need to walk the dog. Sounds like you mean to shutdown the co2 valve, burp out the kegs co2, then detach the coupler for a few days and try again?

Yeah but may have to burp a few times. The co2 is in the beer now and it will come out when the amount in headspace is less, but it can take time depending on how much is in beer. Burp it, wait a few hrs, pour a glass, keep at it till it pours close to what you want, put gas back on at 12 -ish PSI.

you may need longer lines too. In my kegerator I have 10 foot lines, keep the beer around 40 degrees and dispense at 12 PSI. That gives me perfect pours.

Thanks, whats the recommended store and brand of line to buy? Does it matter if you roll the excess up in the smaller kegerator?

I've got 10' lines in my kegerator, I just roll them up and stick them where there is room inside.

Do a Google search for a local homebrew shop in your area. They should be able to answer any questions you have about lines and such, as well as sell them to you.

Most of the store made kegerators are set up to use ten commercial sanke kegs with the line provide. The problems arise when you home brew and use corny kegs...
