I have just started brewing. First batch siting in the closet. Lots of rookie questions. Im basically Apartment Brewing being I don't have any space but hope to clear some room in the garage if I can get the temp to cooperate.

You are right temp control is a tricky thing. Sometimes just having the fermentor in a tub of cool water will provide the optimum fermentation temperature.
