If I still have time to place an order, when would the delivery of the grain be expected?

Edit: Looking to brew a Wee Heavy around May 9.

There is only 5 bags left to fill the pallet. Getting a bit more interest the past two days. If there is enough people interested I can get three pallets. We'll need to fill the third in the next three weeks though. I would like to place this order by the end of April.

We are now at 90 bags. Need to fill 30 more for the third pallet. Need to do this in the next two weeks. Want to order towards the end of the month.

Need 25 more bags to fill the third pallet. Right now, Stutter, Disgraced and Gifty are on the third pallet. Everyone else should send their checks in. Would like to get this order done by the end of the month.

Going to close out this order. Getting a few extra bags myself to finish up the pallet. If anyone wants I'll have a few extra bags of pils. Froggyfrog, Morehopsplease, Sdillow, MrBlackjaw, EFX5003, Stutter and disgrace. Need your checks yetand then I'll place this order.

Should be placing the order on Fri or early next week. Still waiting on 4 more checks yet before ordering.

Anyone interested in buying brand new Sanke kegs with 2" T.C. fittings on top to use as fermenters? I'm thinking of getting some, would keep cost down if we can get at least 10 ordered on a pallet. They would cost around $190 to $200 each with the shipping included. These would be legal new kegs, not stolen from a brewery!

Grain is due in at work today. Weather is not looking good for hauling home this week though. Might have to wait till next week to take home. I'll keep everyone posted.

I'll spring for one of those extra bags of pils if they're not already accounted for when I get there, Mike.

No worries. I was more interested in helping lighten your load than trying to find room for another bag myself. :D

Grain will all be at the shop this evening. You can schedule to pick up evenings after 5:00. Will not be around this weekend except for late Sunday afternoon. PM me when you can pick up.

I somehow just saw this thread also and would be interested in the next round.

I wouldn't expect a new buy until spring, at the earliest, but that's just my guess.

A good shop to buy bulk grain from in the interim is http://www.weakkneehomebrew.com/

It's in Pottstown, but the sack prices justify the trip.

Thank you! Cheapest I've found anywhere so far is $50 shipped from morebeer's Pa storage facility.

Can you believe my LBH wants $62 for 50# of 2-row??? Blows my mind I can have it shipped in for cheaper than that, albeit from the same state.

You and I have the same LHBS. ;)

Give Weak Knee a call, and get prices and place your order. They order on Sundays, and pickup is available usually by Thursday.

Ah nice! Cheers. Wasn't sure what part of Pa you were from. Don't get me wrong, love the people at our home brew store. Just some of the prices could be better. Asked around the Lancaster Hombrewers club, but no one seemed to be into group buys.

I am in Lancaster club and make the trip to Pottstown several times a year and come back with a carload. PM me for details or see me at next meeting.
