I live just south of Nashville, in Smyrna TN. Pretty new to the whole homebrew thing but I am loving it. I only have two notches in my brand new "brew belt" but both turned out pretty well. A special thanks to all the pros in here, you have no idea how much help you have already been. Thanks again.

So far I have an English brown and a German Oktoberfest - I liked the brown beer better, although the German was smoother. I have had mixed reviews, some like darker beer and some liked the red beer, but everyone has liked one of them.

I was especially concerned with the german because I pitched the yeast at about 90 degrees. The fermentation was violent for about a day and a half. then I left it in the secondary for about 2 months, but you know, it turned out pretty good anyway.

I have had so much fun brewing that I haven't had enough time to drink it all before going to the next batch.

Time to get a new one going!
