I always wanted to try making my own beer. Well, finally I bought a starter kit from my local brewery shop and started my first extract beer yesterday from midwestsupply.com. I'm supper excited to dive into this great hobby and have this forum become my backbone of knowledge to help make every beer in the future great!

Welcome - once you start there is no turning back.

This is a great forum. Go to any topic area and there are "sticky" threads at the top of the list. They are ones that provide particularly useful and complete info.

I would also recommend getting a book or two, Palmer's "How to Brew" is a great start. I would advise the library but this being Colorado, where everyone brews it is hard to find them in the library. Beside, it is nice to have on hand for the reference.
