I actually lurked on this forum a few years ago with a different username, but I have since forgotten it. Despite spending a decent amount of time on here back then, I never got around to making anything other than Apfelwein.
Fast forward to 2.5 weeks ago and I finally brewed my first batch. A buddy and I picked up an American Wheat Ale kit from our LHBS. The process turned out to be much simpler and easier to pick up than I imagined. We bottled it about a week ago, and it should be ready for consumption on Saturday.
Since we have 3 fermenters between us, we're thinking about doing two brews on our next brew day. One of those will be a Chai Brown Ale with some cinnamon added. We may try our hands at an IPA for the other.
TL;DR - I'm a new homebrewer in South Florida who just brewed his first batch with a buddy and am now anxious to brew another batch.
