Hey guys, I've got to start with a quick thanks for all the information so far. I've been a lurker for a bit, and I've probably spent more time reading here than it should lately...that's not a bad thing, just an obsession.
I started about a month ago with a friend on a whim. Picked up a starter kit, made and made a porter - that's been in bottles 3 weeks now. It's been hit and miss with the carbonation but the ones that carbed have been delicious.
I jump into things completely or not at all...Well this is the completely type of thing. I picked up a converted fridge with two taps...a couple of corny kegs, CO2 tank, 3 more fermenters, more pots, buckets, carboys etc etc etc...needless to say my office at home is now full to the brim with homebrew supplies and I'm addicted.
I've got a nut brown that I just kegged last night, letting it force carb up right now. Brewed a Saison on sunday and it's sitting in fermentation right now. All of this has been extract. I have done a 1 gallon all-grain kit that was bottled last week so I'm hoping it turns out well - I'm dying to try it, but its got a bit more time before I crack a bottle.
Just converted a 10 gallon cooler to a mash tun and I'm frantically checking everywhere now to find the 5 gallon AG recipe to build. As much as I want to go all out and try to recreate KBS right off the bat I'm actually holding back and trying something a little less complex to start.
Thanks for reading.
