I guess for an extract recipe I'd go with this as a starting point, 5 gallons postboil:
6-6.6 lbs of pale liquid malt extract (lightest you can get)
1 oz of 4%AA german noble hop (Tettnang, Hallertau, etc) boiled for 60 minutes
Use Saaz or mix of Saaz plus german noble hop for slight flavoring/aroma. I don't recall a great hop presence, thus the beer's name/concept.
Your favorite lager yeast.
This will get you 4-4.4% ABV, OG=1.041-1.045, IBU=17ish.
If going all-grain, sub about 8 lbs of german pils @ 75% efficiency.
This could be a starting point. I've never attempted a clone or a similar light lager.
