Just purchased a used GE 7.0 cubic ft chest freezer on marketplace for my first keezer build! Here is a list of my equipment:
- GE 7.0 cf Chest Freezer
- One 2x8x10 wood board for collar
- Three cans of gloss black Rust-Oleum paint
- Inkbird ITC-308
- AC Infinity Quiet Muffin Fan (On the way from Amazon)
- Three way gas manifold (On the way)
- Two Perlick Chrome Plated Faucets (On the way)
- Two Used Ball Lock Kegs (On the way)
- Five Pound C02 Tank (Have not purchased yet)
I will post pictures here as my build continues!
Before:
I do not like the white and neither does the wife, so we bought some black metal spray paint at my local hardware store. Here is the first coat:
Went with 2x8's for the collar with 45's on the corners. Here is my test fit:
The beer is also fermenting away while I am working on this. NEIPA
Let me know what you all think or if you have any suggestions!
