Lots of Georgians here, I see!
I'm brewing because of what I like to call the "stout drought" in the summer. All my favorite beers are winter seasonals! So, I'm going to start brewing some heavy, dark beers to tide me over until Terrapin's Wake-n-Bake, Kona's Pipeline Porter, Rogue Chocolate Stout, Southern Tier Choklat, Brooklyn Black Chocolate, etc.etc.etc... are back in stores.
I've been reading the forum for a few days, extracting what info I could, and decided to join.
Currently I'm brewing Northern Brewer's "Peace Coffee Stout Porter" kit, and I'm going to brew their "Honey Brown Ale" kit next. After that, I'm going to get started on my Coffee Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout... which I'll be asking for advice on here
