Hello I started brewing in Dec '13. I got interested in it after visiting a few local brewpubs and Stone in sd. I started with a few mr. beer fermentors and some old (2006) hme which resulted in terrible beers but I recently purchased all of my friends 5 gallon setup with kegs. I realized I was hoarding equipment and not really brewing so I put in a order with midwest and morebeer to get a steady pipeline in the works.
Eventually I would like to work for a brewpub, to this end I plan to 1. Brew a lot of beer 2. Get a certified beer serving certificate-Ciserone 3. Join a homebrew club in riverside. 4. Volunteer or attend at southland beerfests. 2014 looks like a it's going to be a great year.
I have a couple diy projects lined up for this summer. A jockey box and keezer.
