Am looking for help with my water spent hours researching, but still unsure (plus getting lazy). Am going to do my first All-Grain and BIAB, an IPA, and I think my water is OK ??? per the city water report:
pH = 9.8
Alkalinity (HCO3) 32 ppm
Calcium = 36 ppm
Magnesium = 5 ppm
Sodium = 66 ppm
Sulfate = 179 ppm
Total Hardness as CaCO3 = 105 ppm
Initially was concerned about pH, but my understanding is the grains will drop it to an acceptable level. Is this correct?
I am not trying anything special just want a good beer.
