I just started home brewing last month and the addiction has taken effect rapidly. Right now I'm only working with (2) 5-gallon primary fermenters but I have two glass carboys for secondaries on the way. I would love to start brewing in larger quantities and I'm looking for any advice I can get. Right now I'm turning out about 50 bottles every time I brew but I would love more beer. Is it a good idea to buy ingredients in bulk? and where is a good place to buy them? what kind of equipment would I need for larger batches? Basically..How can I make as much quality beer as possible?

You can pull off 10 gal batches in converted sanke kegs. Buy in bulk when you can. Start kegging as soon as possible. RDWHAHB.

Don't secondary. Look up Revvy's posts on extended primary fermentation. I just started this method. When the carboys arrive you will have four primaries.

I secondary for clarity reasons. Revy is right about a long primary fermentation for 3 weeks or longer then secondary.
