I am looking to either brew a lager or an ipa with around 7% alcohol. I have only brewed a pale ale, stout and a Hefeweizen. I really enjoy ipa's and lags so I'm interested in brewing one. I usually do extracts seeing as I only have a 4 gallon pot a d 5 gallon Carboys at the moment. Any personal advice would be awesome, I'm in Portland Oregon if that helps anyone with my usual take in beers ( seeing as I love all the micro's we enjoy here)
