Hi all. I just did my secondary fermentation of a gallon of Kolsch and the kit contains priming sugar and also spray dried malt. Brewer's Best instructions doesn't mention anything about the dried malt, neither in the contents of the ingredients nor the instructions of the second fermentation. Can anyone please confirm if I should use the priming surag, dried malt or both?
Thanks and stay safe.

I would go ahead and use the priming sugar. Sounds like someone at the factory may have inadvertently added an extra packet of dried malt during packaging.

Ok folks . Found out the mistake , the 2ozweath DME had to be done with the 1lb pilsen DME. Well, next time.

Thanks for the help. I figured the mistake I made. At the start boil section it says"add all of the included DME". I missed the 2oz wheat DME, I only put the 1lb Pilsen DME.

You made a Pilsen DME SMaSH. The 2 oz of wheat DME could still be added in the secondary but, probably, wouldn’t change the finished product much.
Thanks. I think I'm going to leave it. Lucky I ran a practice brew with my sons 1 gallon equipment. Im going to do it again with my 5 gallon equipment. Thanks to everyone for such quick responses.
