Hi,

i made a new recipe and i need some feedback. I didn't brew it yet.

All grain

OG: 1.056
IBU: 40
EBC: 13.9
ABV: 5.7

Pale malt 89,1%
Munich 5.9%
Caramel 50 EBC 2%
Wheat 3%

15g MAGNUM 60min
10g CASCADE 20min
20g CASCADE 15min
15g STYRIAN GOLDING 5min
20g STYRIAN GOLDING 1min
30g STYRIAN GOLDING 0min
Safale US 05

DRY HOP STYRIAN GOLDING 30g

From these recipe i want clean smooth bittering, cascade flavour and styrian aroma. Not too much fruity aroma, but more earthy. So what do u think? How these two hops work together, one is american and one slovene. Thanks

Styrian Golding is a Fuggle hop, and is a little non-traditional to pair with Cascade. Cascade has pretty bold flavor and aroma, whereas S.G. is delicate. I think that you're going to drown out the S.G. with the Cascade. You might consider using Willamette or Glacier for aroma (if that suits you), or trading some Cascade for more S.G. Whatever you do, post how hit turns out.

Yes, you have probably right. But there wouldn't be so much aroma from cascade i think... Thanks, i think i going to try with cascade. Really curious how will this end...

It turns out great. Cascade didn't drown styrian golding, because of proper boil time. It is just taste of cascade and aroma from styrian. So i think that mixing different hops from different region is ok and beer can turn out really good.
