Nebraska farmer contemplating a new hobby

Hey guys first off thanks all for such a great wealth of knowledge. These forums have been a great starter crash course, I almost feel like I could just jump in head first. Anyways love to meet some local brewers (north east Nebraska) before I make the leap and spend a bunch of money that I’ll have to justify to the boss. Heh

If you have a 5 gallon stock pot you can get started with minimal additional supplies.

You would need a fermenter. I prefer PET bottles. Or a bucket.
Bung and airlock
Hydrometer
Autosiphon
Starsan
An extract beer kit
A capper and caps
Bottle filling wand
and 55 crimp on bottles. Have your friends save some for you.

You can use priming drops, or get a bottling bucket

I am sure that I missed something. And you will soon want a lot more....
