The many antenna suggest a huge population nearby. And the way the homes, I assume, are arranged on the hill I'm guessing it's a road criss-crossing up there. I don't see any water but it feels... coastal. And I guess that was actually stated.

I'm with @Rodent in California again as well.

Looks like a snapshot taken a few decades ago w/ slide film. Although I don't think that matters.

Daly City South of San Francisco and North of SFO. Looked familiar given the number of taxi and Uber rides I've take from the airport to the City and back.

All I can say is that it reminds me of New Zealand. The lake at Queenstown and crusing Doubtful Sound. And, yes, these things were created by glaciers. I am almost certain this is New Zealand.
