Well... There's the Juneau / Anchorage question to resolve.

If it's actually resolved, @Brewsmith 's photo looks like northern New Mexico to me, where the flat lands meet the Rockies.

If not then never mind!

I will defer to Brewsmith to keep the game moving forward, but don't want anyone booking a vacation to Mendenhall Glacier based on this thread, flying to Anchorage and finding out that they are in the wrong city.

My bad. it is Juneau, not Anchorage. Not sure what I was thinking. I took both pictures. The wife and I took a paddle wheel cruise ship out of Juneau for our 25th wedding anniversary. One of the best vacations ever.

After we returned to Juneau we rented a car and drove to the end of the road. We then turned around to the North and drove to the other end of the road. Later we drove over the bridge, went to the end of that road and then up to the ski area. Drove pretty much all the roads in Juneau that day.
