Lake Constance?
Since the Baltics have already been ruled out, I would guess it's at a lake. I would assume the architecture to be less fitting into the North Sea region.
The Doppler shift to the red leads me to conclude that it is a sunset, so the lake must have a certain east-west extension, which rules out many southern German lakes. The moderate altitude profile on the outside also excludes the lakes of the Italian Alps.
