The Peninsula Bridge across the Motueka River it is! I'm still pretty sure you heard of it ... 
I passed this bridge a few years ago with my Sunny, she was barely fitting on the narrow pathway. A local hitchhiker to Ngatimoti gave us the hint to go around Motueka Town using this way, to get to the Golden Bay area. Indeed it was a nice ride all through the hops fields (and kiwi fruits).
