Hi guys, a question for the experts:
Yesterday I made a batch of beer. After a 60 min full wort boil, I pumped the wort through my CFC and into another kettle to settle out. The temperature dropped from boiling to 50 F in under 10 minutes, which is good, and yet...
No trub. NONE.
I've made maybe 15 batches of beer from extract, and a few all grain, but this is the first time that I've never had any trub at all.
My grain bill was simple, just what I had on hand: 8 lbs of 2-row and 4 lbs of caramel.
I'm not worried, but I was wondering if this indicates that I didn't boil it long enough. Not enough irish moss?
Thanks
james
