and she doesn't even drink beer. So her and I are checking out a new brew pub tonight where there are 8 hand crafted brews on tap. These early 20 somethings come up behind us discussing what they're going to drink. Of course they are mis-prouncing styles and comparing everything to BMC. SWMBO turns to me and whispers "I'm gonna punch one of these kids if they don't stop screwing this up!" I guess she wasn't ignoring me during all my hours of talking about beer!

It is dangerous. My SWMBO doesn't like everything I make, but if it has kilned or roasted malts she'll usually kill half the batch without too much trouble. I have to be sure to brew some yellow stuff so that I have enough for myself

i understand he wants some for himself. if he wants the dark beer also, he could brew more often, and tell her that since she likes it, and he does too, he needs to brew more. that would defeat the purpose if he doesn't like brewing, but since he enjoys it, she couldn't complain about his brewing time if he's "brewing for them, not just for himself".

I suppose you're right. I started brewing at the end of January with one fermenter and now I have three, all full. Gotta keep at least one going with something for her. Wife happy, life happy.
